Is every football field the same size?
Not all pitches are the same size, though the preferred size for many professional teams' stadiums is 105 by 68 metres (115 yd × 74 yd) with an area of 7,140 square metres (76,900 sq ft; 1.76 acres; 0.714 ha).
Football pitches do not have to be the same size. The length and width of any football pitch must fall into the regulations of its respective league or governing body. FIFA states that pitches must be between 90 and 120 m long and between 45 and 90 m wide.
FIFA recommendations for field dimensions in professional football are 105 metres in length and 68 metres in width. Clubs are encouraged where possible to mark their fields in accordance with this standard.
Ultimately, Premier League pitches are all roughly the same size. However, the Laws of the Game state pitches can be between 90 and 120 metres long, and drastically different in width – between 50 and 100 metres, although they must be longer than they are wide.
In American football the standard field dimensions are 120 yards long and 53 1/3 yards wide. The last 10 yards of length on either end of the field are considered “end zones” in which a player scores. These dimensions are consistent for football played at the high school, college and professional (NFL) level.
Stadiums and clubs will often choose the size of the field by determining the playing style of their home team in order to give them an edge.
The Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero, owned by Spanish club Elche, is one of the biggest pitches in the world. It measures a colossal 118 x 77 yards, several yards longer and wider than the IFAB and FIFA guidelines.
At present, the smallest football pitch size in the Premier League can be found at the home of Wolves. Their Molineux ground has football pitch dimensions of 100m by 64m.

The full Laws of the Game include "The length of the touch line must be greater than the length of the goal line" (page 7). This means a pitch can't be square... but it can be 90.01m x 90.00m so your question basically still applies. Also note that the Laws do not specify the field of play must be (exactly) horizontal.
Who invented football?
The game has ancient origins, but in the late 19th century, Walter Camp helped shape football—the American kind—into the sport we know today. The game has ancient origins, but in the late 19th century, Walter Camp helped shape football—the American kind—into the sport we know today.

A soccer field is larger than a football field because a football field is limited to 53 1/3 yards wide, where a soccer field is typically 75 yards wide and can be up to 100 yards wide in some cases. Yes, in a literal sense, pro and college fields are the same width (53 1/3 yards). But in a strategic sense, they're wildly different. Hashmarks dictate where the ball is spotted. In the NFL, they're 18 feet, 6 inches apart.
As for the football used: In overall circumference, college footballs can be up to 1-1/4 inches smaller than NFL footballs. To get more detailed, the circumference of a college football ranges from 20-3/4 inches to 21-1/4 inches lengthwise from end to end, vs. the 21 inches to 21-1/4 inches in the NFL.
An NFL football field is 120 yards long (360 feet).
From goal line to goal line, the field is only 100 yards (300 feet) long, but once each ten-yard deep end zone is factored in, the field adds up to 120 yards (360 feet) in total length.
The 'D'marks the part of the pitch outside the penalty box which is closer to the penalty spot than 10 yards, into which players must not encroach before the kick. It is usually called the D.
The field of play is rectangular and marked with lines called boundary lines. The two longer boundary lines are touch lines and the two shorter lines are goal lines.
Why does football have 6 yard boxes?
If anyone in the attacking team is fouled in the area, they are awarded a penalty which is taken from a spot that is 12 yards from the goal line. There's another, smaller, rectangle too: the six yard box, whose main function is to limit where the goalkeeper can place the ball when taking a goal kick.
For those curious, the oldest ground ever to be featured in the Premier League is Sheffield United's Bramall Lane, which remarkably hosted its first football match in 1862.

Anfield's pitch size has counted against it with UEFA rules stating that pitches must have fixed dimensions of 105m by 68m. The Reds' playing surface is just 101m long and cannot be extended due to the closeness of the stands at both the Kop and the Anfield Road end.
On a match day the Wembley pitch grass is cut three times to ensure it's as neat as it can be. But when there are concerts the grass is killed off and the ground is covered before all those lumbering music fans turn up.
