How do I turn off Motion and Fitness on my iPhone?
Go to your “Settings” app and head over to the “Privacy” section by scrolling down a bit. Now scroll down again and tap “Motion & Fitness”. Then disable the “Fitness Tracking” toggle to turn off the tracking feature altogether. Note that you won't have any kind of step counting or other sensory data in the Health app.

- Go to your phone settings > Apps.

- Select Allow Physical Activity access for this app.
The ESR app needs to access the the Motion & Fitness sensor to record your ride and provide stats including lean angle and elevation. This permission is also used to enable recording when you put ESR in the background to take a call or use other apps.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Motion. Turn on or off any of the following controls: Reduce Motion: Reduces the motion of the user interface, including the parallax effect of icons. Auto-Play Message Effects: Allows the Messages app to automatically play full-screen effects.
The answer to that question is personal preference, if you like it better with motion then disable Reduce Motion. If you like it without motion enable Reduce Motion.

Shutting off your internet connection disables Life360, and the app usually shows your last location. The obvious downside of this method is that all other apps lose connection too, which limits notifications, messaging apps, and other services.
In the settings menu, scroll down and tap on “Passcode” as shown in the screenshot below. Here, scroll down to the very bottom and you'll find the toggle for Wrist Detection. It's enabled by default, but you can tap once on the toggle to disable it.
The motion tracker takes note of the amount of steps you, total distance traveled, and even the altitude of activity. But for folks concerned with battery life or that don't use fitness trackers, you may want to turn off Motion and Fitness tracking for your device.
